Updates!!!

This last week has been awesome. We picked up 3 investigators all in one day. So, recap. We had a lesson with a Potential Investigator, Rachel, at the library. It was a long lesson (by long I mean it was literally from 3-5). But, she wanted to continue meeting. So, that was the first new investigator! We had another lesson with a new investigator, Cece that we had picked up from the week before and her son Antonio was there!! So, that was our second investigator of the day. After that lesson, we had a lesson with another Investigator Amanda (who has been an investigator for almost a year). She had invited her friend Kami to the lesson and Kami said that from what we had taught at that lesson, it sounded pretty cool. She also said,"I'm gonna be real though. If I don't feel it. I won't keep learning." I honestly like it when people say that now though because it means that they are actually going to try and learn. So, I wasn't even mad! But, we also picked her up as an investigator. It was awesome. Then on Thursday I went in to the doctors to get checked out. For my stomach they put me on a new prescription which helps with the nausea, but not the actual shooting, sharp pains. For my head, they have no idea what is actually going on. So, I'm gonna have to go to the hospital and get an MRI for that. Whoops. Mom always told me that I was the most expensive baby she's ever had.

For other cool news, Saturday night we had a trunk or treat for the Holt and Meridian ward. We went to that and then one of my favorite members, Sister Anderson, took my companion and I out to get ice cream afterwards. Then, she broke the news. So, quick back story. I've known for a while now that either a General Authority or an Apostle was going to be coming to the mission. But no one knew who. Then when we were all sitting around eating ice cream, she broke the news that President Nelson was going to be coming to the mission on November 11 and 12!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

It has been awesome to also get to know Sister Carroll more. We are so alike! We were both adopted, our adoption stories are kinda similar, her dad was a dairy farmer, we both want to be teachers, we're both serving in Michigan, etc. We're practically the same person. It's pretty cool.

I love you!! Also, her are some pics of trunk or treat people as well as Sister Carroll and I. The kid in green reminds me of Bode. It's awesome.
