Thanks so much for your email! I loved it! I am so happy that Bode is wrestling and that he is enjoying it. He is awesome! I got the package this week and Sister Carroll and I are DYING to know what all the gifts are in the stockings. We are having so much fun opening them! My week was awesome! We didn't have too many lessons though, we lost the car on Wednesday, and we are getting sick. When we gave the car to the Williamston Elders on Wednesday night, no one was able to give us a ride back from the institute to our apartment. So, we walked all the way back to our apartment. It took an hour and a half and it was hard to walk through the snow. We ended up waking up the next morning sick. So, we called our District Leader and he said that it was a good idea to stay inside and not go out. So, we spent all day inside. On Friday we ended up having our lesson with Amanda and her friend Kami cancel because Amanda has been getting sick as well. So, we walked to the institute so that Sister Carroll could practice her part for a song that she is singing next Sunday with a member from our ward. After we got to the institute, she practiced for a while and then we went and asked Elder and Sister Rushton for a ride back to our apartment. When they found out that we had walked to the institute, they were not happy with us. They are honestly like our grandparents for the mission. Every missionary loves them so much! After they dropped us off at the apartment, we stayed in and did Weekly Planning. It took about 20 minutes because we had had no lessons all week. It was pretty fast. We got picked up by a member in our ward and she took us to Lansing to pick up some supplies from another member who does a lot of couponing and gives out supplies to the missionaries. She is awesome! So, after getting our supplies, we got dropped off at another members house for dinner at the Robisons. It was a lot of fun! Brother Robison was the Mission President in Spain a while ago. So he is awesome at helping us missionaries out. Saturday was pretty busy. We had a Ward Breakfast Christmas party. It was super fun! Us missionaries got in on the fun and dressed up for the nativity. Everyone was laughing at seeing us dressed up! Then, we got dropped back off at our apartment after the Christmas party and then we got picked up by Elder and Sister Rushton who gave us a ride in to Lansing so that we could help Sister Hopkins cut and tie some blankets for her kids. She was sick when she went over there so hopefully we don't get anything. But, we both aren't feeling too good today. Yikes. Anyways, we helped her make all the blankets and she was so grateful for our help. She has 8 kids and her and her husband were kind of having an off day that day because they both weren't feeling well so there was a lot of bickering the whole time that we were there. Sister Hopkins then drove us to our next appointment who is a Less Active. Her name is Sister Wooden. She is so sad all the time. Us and the Elders go over there to help cheer her up. Well, she also makes dinners for us whenever we go over there. So, she made chili. Boy was it spicy! She told us that she only put 8 peppers in the chili this time so that none of us would die from how spicy it was. She talked the whole time about how sad she was that someone had murdered her son, Jacob, back in June. She has 5 other kids who all got baptized with her when she joined the church. How she met the missionaries is an amazing story! She loves God so much!! For the lesson with her we read a talk from October 2017 General Conference called "The trek continues". She really liked it and said that it applied to her so much!!

Michigan weather is insane! It's actually raining today instead of snowing! So weird! We got a bunch of snowed dumped on us last week so there was a lot of snow on the ground. Sister Carroll really likes to play in the snow as well. She's so funny! For Christmas we will be going to skype at the Taylors house around lunch time so for you guys it would be around 9 or 10 that I would skype you. I am so excited to talk to you on Christmas!! Let me know if I'm getting a Michigander accent. They say their A's weird.

I love you!
