The day the Prophet called me

Hello friends and family!! Our mission has recently gotten smartphones and we are now allowed to use Facebook to help us further the Lord's work. Sister Olsen and I are grateful for this opportunity to use technology to share our testimonies more frequently. Sister Freeman- I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the Lord's work. I know that He and His Son, Jesus Christ appeared to a young   14 year old boy and called him to be a prophet. I know that he helped Joseph Smith translate the Book of Mormon. It truly IS another testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have to know that I can be with my family forever. Even after death. I know that God loves each of us and has a plan of love set in place for each of us so that we can all one day make it back to live with Him again. Sister Olsen- I am so happy to be living in this time. The work here in Bay City is just beginning and will be greatly benefited by the technology we have...

This last week has been CRAZY!! So my companion told me that a tooth was bothering her but that it had started to bother her when she first came out so she wasn't too worried about it. Well,  Saturday  night, she didn't sleep at all! She was up pacing the apartment because the pain from her tooth was hurting her SO bad. We called our Mission Presidents wife and told her, and didn't go to church yesterday because Sister Olsen was drugged up, tired and in pain. So, she slept for 4 hours yesterday while I studied out of ensigns and in the Book of Mormon. It was great. It was also a bit of a long day. We called our Mission President and he said that he was already heading to Saginaw to give another Sister a blessing so he would come to Bay City to give Sister Olsen a blessing. Then he told her to call our Stake President who is a dentist and see what he advises us to do. So, we called him and he told her that if a tooth keeps ya up at night, you're gonna have to get a root...

MOMMA'S NOTE:  UGH!!  No pictures this week!!  I need pictures!! That is so good to hear about! I'm glad everything went well for the reception! I am so happy for Lexi and Mason. How are they doing? Or have you heard anything yet? Wow... I haven't heard from Lexi in a while. I know she's happy though so that's all I care about!  About this week... Miracles upon miracles!!! Sister Olsen and I picked up two new investigators this week! One at McDonalds (it was even in the playground section of McDonalds) and she felt the Spirit so strong that she started crying! Right there, in the midst of all that chaos, she felt God's love for her. It was an amazing experience. The other investigator we picked up happened  on Saturday . We ended up getting a call from her telling us that she wanted to start meeting so that she could get baptized. Whoa. It was a total miracle!! So, we met with her  on Saturday  and found out that she wants to get baptized the end...

NOTE: I'm still trying to recover from Lexi's wedding so this letter actually came on Monday  but I'm just getting to it. Sis Freeman's new address 880 N. York Dr. Apt 8 Essexville, MI 48732 It has been really good! Sister Olsen is amazing! Her and I get along so well! We had an ice storm come in starting  Friday  night, it lasted all day  Saturday , church got cancelled  Sunday , and then it continued throughout  Sunday  and started raining last night. It was insane! This week has been great though! Bay City is definitely different than any other area I have had. Its pretty crazy here and there are some weird people. I love it here already though! Sister Olsen and I have a lot of fun together! We are always laughing either at or with each other. Its pretty great. I am so excited for Lexi and Mason to get married  tomorrow ! I'm gonna need a lot of pictures and videos! I had a dream last night about being home and goi...

Wow this week has been all sorts of crazy! We got a voicemail from one of our investigators telling us to never come back to their house because she now doesn't agree with anything that we have been telling her. So sad. We dropped our other investigator Jessie because she just wasn't progressing at all and she just believes in all religions all together. So, we both felt like we should drop her. Maybe in the future she will be able to meet with missionaries again. We had a lot of fun this week getting ready for Jaleighs baptism for today. We bought fabric and made a tie blanket for her, a journal, and gave her some sour patch kids. She loved it!  Supposedly its also Spring in Michigan??? I don't think Michigan got that information yet. We woke up  on Wednesday  with snow!! It melted and then all came back  on Friday . It was insane. We couldn't believe how crazy Michigan is.
