Updates!!!  This last week has been awesome. We picked up 3 investigators all  in one day . So, recap. We had a lesson with a Potential Investigator, Rachel, at the library. It was a long lesson (by long I mean it was literally from 3-5). But, she wanted to continue meeting. So, that was the first new investigator! We had another lesson with a new investigator, Cece that we had picked up from the week before and her son Antonio was there!! So, that was our second investigator of the day. After that lesson, we had a lesson with another Investigator Amanda (who has been an investigator for almost a year). She had invited her friend Kami to the lesson and Kami said that from what we had taught at that lesson, it sounded pretty cool. She also said,"I'm gonna be real though. If I don't feel it. I won't keep learning." I honestly like it when people say that now though because it means that they are actually going to try and learn. So, I wasn't even mad! But, w

This week it is apparently going to rain the whole time. Which, sucks for us today and tomorrow because Sister Carroll and I don't have a car until Wednesday. Then on Wednesday, the Elders don't have a car. But that's okay. They should be fine. I think that I am honestly going to miss haunted houses the most during Halloween. I freaking love those things. We have a Zone Conference next monday (in which my companion Sister Carroll and I are singing at ) and then we have P-Day on Halloween! It's going to be so freaking fun... I hope.  This week, has been long. After Transfers happen, Eternal week happens. It's been rough. We also were put onto car rotations so we gave up our freaking nice 2017 chevy malibu. Then, we had to walk everywhere. On Wednesday we had an appointment at 12 with a less active that we are working with so we got a ride from Elder and Sister Rushton who work at the mission office. Well, she lives in Lansing but in the Elders area. So, we thoug

Hello!  Yes, I did get the package! I haven't gotten Brek's letter yet, but I will keep a look out for it! Also, the Connell shirt is most likely a kids shirt. I pulled it out and it was really small! I love it, but I'm definitely gonna have to stretch it out! Haha the weather is honestly all over the place right now! It's mostly been raining though this past week. We got our transfer calls  on Friday ! Well, I did anyways. Sister Newby got hers  on Thursday  night because President called her and asked if she would be a Sister Training Leader in Grand Rapids! She's gonna do awesome! I will miss her a lot but I am getting another awesome companion, Sister Carol! Sister Carol pretty much looks like Sister Newby (kinda but not really) but is much taller! Elder Call who WAS our District Leader got called  Thursday  night as well to be a Zone Leader in Midland! Super cool! We all knew that he was gonna be made a Zone Leader but he didn't want to be cause then he w

(Sis Freeman responding to hearing about Verdene Jenks accident) Oh wow that is so sad! I will definitely write her! I think that the prayers have really been working because we had some miracles this week! We got 3 potential investigators, 1 new investigator and then some really cool news!! So, backstory really fast. We were in Lansing (in the only area that we have in Lansing anyways) and we didn't know where to go finding at. So, we pulled off the road and said a prayer. Afterwards, we looked back at the map and Sis. Newby pointed out one street which we both felt pretty good about. So, we went over there and started knocking on some doors. No one was really interested. So, after we had just gotten rejected at another house, we turned around and there was this guy walking down the road with a backpack and a bike! So, we went over and talked to him. We found out that he's homeless but he told us that he knew God has a plan for him. He just doesn't know what it is yet

This week has been... long.  Monday  was a normal (ish) day. We had District meeting, interviews, blessings and then went home and slept.  Tuesday  was our P-day and we had a Sister who serves on MSU campus join us for that day because her companion was going to the temple  on Friday  with the Sisters serving in Lansing. So, it was a different kind of day.  Wednesday ,  Thursday , and  Friday  were basically the same kind of days. Wake up, get ready, plan, study, companion study, eat, then head out for the day.  Friday  was a bit different because we had the same sister who was with us  on Tuesday  join us for another day. This time we went out door knocking. It was... interesting. Sister Knight (who serves on MSU campus), Sister Newby, and I first saw a woman who was out in her garden so we went over and talked to her. She wasn't interested in the church but we definitely had a lot of fun with her. She loved to say whatever was on her mind. Didn't matter what it was. She told
