Hello!! Happy Memorial Day!! Wow this past week has been crazy!! So much has happened it's insane! The weather is SOOOO hot right now. It's insane! Marnie did get baptized  on Saturday ! We are so happy for her! Before she got immersed though, her boyfriend Joe and her were in the font and while he was saying the baptismal prayer, she started to cry! It was such a sweet and tender moment. There is a huge change in her since we first met with her up until the day she got baptized and the day after that when she got the gift of the Holy Ghost. Being able to see the change that the gospel brings to someone's life first hand is incredible! I can't even describe the way it feels. We actually had a lesson this morning as well which was pretty cool. His name is Brian. We were able to put him on date for  June 30 . The last Saturday of the month. He is learning everything so quickly it's insane! He's such a great guy. Shawnda is supposed to be getting baptized  this

Yesterday we had the opportunity to see this wonderful woman enter the waters of baptism. We are so thankful for her and the example that she is to us. We love you  Marnie ! And we hope that your journey will continue and take you places you have never been before. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your conversion! And thank you to the wonderful missionaries before who planted a seed so long ago. We love you so much and are so thankful that we had the chance to meet you!

Hey!  This week has been pretty good! We got our calls yesterday and neither of us are leaving Bay City which is good! We are super excited to be able to spend another 6 weeks together.  We picked up 2 new investigators yesterday which was super exciting! Their names are Sophia and Patrick. They've been married for a couple years now and have been looking for a church to go to for a while now. The missionaries knocked on their door about a year ago but they weren't able to go to church or have the discussions because Patrick had 2 major surgeries. So one day we get a call from Sophia saying that they wanted to meet! We set up a time and met with them  Friday  which was really good. We gave them a Book of Mormon to read. They also said they would be coming to church  tomorrow ! We were able to get another person on date for baptism on  June 16 . Her name is Tasha and she is just a sweetheart! We are so excited for her. We also got Bob on a soft baptismal invite meaning that he

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. When I pray, I then turn to the Book of Mormon for answers. God still speaks to man today! He chose Joseph Smith to be the prophet at the time to help restore His true church to the earth. Why would he choose a 14 year old boy though? Well, if you were going to choose two random people, one older and one young, and tell them that you have new information for them, who would be more  receptive? The one who has more life experience will not be as receptive to your message. A younger person is still learning the ways of the world. They will be more willing to listen. That is why God chose Joseph Smith when he was 14 years old. He did it in the Bible as well! Remember the story of Samuel? He was young when he was called to be a prophet! God works in patterns. God does not change. I know with my whole heart that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. For me, the Bible is

This week has been an adventure! We have been so scattered because we still don't know how to use phones very well and so we are currently still working on how to put information into our phones. It's interesting. We have had lessons this week. We have also gotten 4 referrals this week! So cool! We were able to meet one this morning actually! We gave him a Bible and a Book of Mormon. We were also able to set up a time to meet with him! We are excited to meet with him. He seems like he is genuinely interested in learning more. We tried to meet with Bob this week but he had reconstruction of his face cause they had to get some tumors out. Ouch. Marnie is still doing good. We weren't able to meet with her this week though because of her job, but we are meeting with her   this Wednesday ,   Friday   and   Saturday . She is so excited to get baptized!! Shawnda is also on baptismal date but is struggling with the Law of Chastity currently. Pray lots for her!! She has lots of pot

What a wonderful day!! I was able to talk with my momma today as well as my dad and siblings (yes, that includes you Mason  😊 ) I sure know that when Christ said to honor your father and mother, there was a reason. Parents, moms and dads alike, are the best friends you will ever have in your life. Family is definitely ordained of God. The family is essential to Gods plan. So thanks mom and dad for being the best parents that I could have ever asked for, and thanks to my siblings for being some of my best friends that I will ever have in my life! And thanks Mason, for being a great brother-in-law and husband to my amazing sister!! I love you all! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

In honor of Mothers Day being tomorrow... Aren't moms just amazing?? I sure know that my mom has helped me through thick and thin. When I was being refined by the Lord, my mom was there. She helped me through everything. She is one person I can always turn to and confide in. There are even those who have become my honorary moms and even grandma's! We have no idea how much the women around us go through, but we do know that they are some of the strongest people that we know. Christ himself honored his mother at all times. Christ is the perfect example of how to love, obey and honor our mothers. I know that I love my mom with all my heart! So in order to become more like Christ, are we honoring our mothers like he did with his?

As a representative of Jesus Christ, and as followers of Jesus Christ, are we doing literally ALL we can do? Are we asking God for moments to share our faith and our testimonies? Are we willing to take a step back and realize how many people need our help? We are the hands of Christ here on earth. We have promised that every day we would be doing things that Christ himself would do. Are we doing t hat? I know that as we truly align our will with our Heavenly Fathers and His Son Jesus Christ, we will find that we are receiving so many blessings from our Heavenly Father. So put down the phone, put aside your needs, and look up. Look around. Then ask God, " who needs me today? How can I be your hands today?" I promise you that God has more in store for us than what we think. He knows what we need. He knows what others need. So ask. Do his will. Become a better follower of Jesus Christ and you will find peace in Christ.

This week has been great. Interesting, but great. Having a smartphone instead of a dumphone is so weird. We took lots of pictures on our phones already though haha. Which was to be expected. We will be posting on Facebook every other day so that will be interesting. Also found out, that if someone from back home wants to talk to me about the gospel they can message me over Facebook and I can teach them along with help from the missionaries back home. Pretty cool! Also, I will be emailing on and off every  Monday b ecause we don't have a set time for how long we can be emailing anymore. So weird!! Anyway, here are some pictures!  We still have 2 people on date, Shawnda and Marnie. We are so excited for them! We haven't picked up any new investigators this week but we are still working hard to find people to teach. We are working on putting all our investigators on date this week because we know how important that covenant is to make. Marnie knows that as well! Her baptismal
